NEW BEDFORD — Steven L. Doyle, 61, of Fairhaven passed on unexpectedly Sunday, April 9, 2017.
Born and raised in New Bedford, son of Theresa (Ponte) Doyle of Fairhaven and the late Oliva L. Doyle, he settled in Fairhaven many years ago. Steven was a motorcycle and automotive detail specialist known as “Scratches”. He enjoyed his rock and roll music from the legends of his era. Steve was a loving and devoted son. He adored his daughters, grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Spending time with family brought him joy.
He is survived by his mother, Theresa; two daughters, Stephanie D. M. Doyle and Elizabeth C. Doyle; two grandchildren, Colby and Cali McMullen; a great-granddaughter, Raylee McMullen; three sisters, Janet Doyle St. Gelais, Diane Safioleas and Cathy Doyle; two brothers, Michael Doyle and Robert Doyle; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
